I recall hearing, after one of my senior shows at Brown University, a faculty member describing my work as “nice wall decoration”.  I think that method can be described as process-driven, however this critique got me thinking about the way that I frame my work.  My handbag line was born from this inquiry, and the wall-art I create has taken a more conceptual voice.
